After your employees complete their chat with Amber, they are then provided with the option to chat with Anonymous Bat. Unlike conversations with Amber, all conversations with Anonymous Bat are kept completely anonymous. Only admins can review these messages without the sender’s name attached.

Anonymous Bat is easily accessible through Amber's chat link and can be accessed at any point in the employee lifecycle to share grave concerns.

How to access Anonymous Bat on the Dashboard

  1. Click on the bat icon present in the left-hand side Navigation Bar on your dashboard. You can see the number of unread messages by the red tag on this icon.

  2. When you open Anonymous Messages, you can see two types of conversations:
    a) Active: The list of conversations under ‘Active’ are either the ones that an Admin wants to keep a track of or the ones that haven’t been responded to yet.
    b) Archive: The conversations under ‘Archive’ have either been closed or are junk. Admins cannot respond to these conversations unless they are unarchived.

Note:

If an employee responds to the message archived by an admin, the conversation will move back to the ‘Active’ list. New messages will be displayed in the same conversation with the same anonymous name and appended to the previous messages.

  1. You can reply to an anonymous message from the employee by clicking on the “Start Typing” box. The employee will be notified via email of your response.

The employee can click on the “Reply” button to continue the conversation anonymously.

  1. After an employee responds to your message, you will receive the following email notification. All the other admins whose access this employee falls under will also receive the same email.

  1. If you respond to the anonymous message of an employee who also falls into the access of other admins, they will receive the following email:

Note:

Multiple admins can respond to the same conversation.

How to Archive and Delete Anonymous Messages

Once you have resolved the concerns raised by the employee, you can archive or delete the chat from the top right-hand sidebar.

Note:

While the conversation will be deleted from all other Admins’ dashboards (with relevant access) by clicking on “Delete”, but the same will not be deleted from the employee’s chat window.

How to Export Anonymous Messages

If you want to export any anonymous conversation, click on the “Export” button next to Anonymous Messages. You can specifically export only ‘Active’ conversations, only ‘Archived’ conversations, or ‘All’ conversations.
